The system will generate Form A (Petition), Form B (Order for Hearing), Form C (Expungement Order), and all required mailing cover letters (Forms D, E, F, G).

2. Pro Se Electronic Filing Procedure (eCourts)

Follow the procedural directives below to execute your filing as a self-represented (Pro Se) petitioner:

  1. Portal Registration: Navigate to the Official New Jersey Courts Portal and complete the registration for a Pro Se eCourts account.
  2. Filing Selection: Upon successful authentication, access the "Criminal" division tab and select the "Expungement Filing" procedure.
  3. Document Upload: Attach the PDF documents retrieved in Step 1 to the electronic filing submission.
  4. Service of Process: Following judicial review and assignment of a docket number, you will be issued a filed copy of your Petition and Order for Hearing. You are then legally required to serve these documents upon the appropriate law enforcement agencies using the generated Cover Letters (Forms E & G).
